Poetry - Dreaming

 Dreaming

Is there a life for me,
out there in the vast distance?
Will I find it with ease,
or defiant resistance?
Is someone there for me,
to guide me through the dark?
Or will I stumble and fall,
on some piece of bark?
Can I find my way,
even on my own?
Without too much dismay,
like a free fly zone.

Where are my resources,
are they in reach?
Where are my friends,
to break at the beach?
Persistence helped me through,
this jungle I once knew.
As I find myself,
Life flies by screaming.
I think of shelves,
and catch myself dreaming!
